What a week for Brandon Publishing’s newest and youngest author Antonio Brown. Antonio, a full time sixth grader at Doyle Ryder Elementary (Flint, Michigan), found himself learning the new habits and lifestyle of a rock star.

Brown found himself in front of the cameras and over the airwaves Making stops at NBC25, ABC 12, Club 93.7, and CARS 108. Brown also grabbed some ink from regional news giant MLIVE.com.
“A busy week for this young man and myself. I don’t think it’s enough though. What Antonio has done is a major feat and our community should be surrounding him by the hundreds,” says BP Publisher Kellen E. Brandon.
More important than any news or radio attention Antonio received this week, his inspiration for other youths his age is priceless. Among the crowd of adults lined up to purchase a signed copy of Antonio’s first book “The Michigan Adventure,” were children
ranging from the ages 7-15; All interested in reading Antonio’s book, and writing their own.
“I just want kids to know that they can do this too. They can tell their own stories just like I did,” says Brown.
Brandon Publishing’s Young Authors Program is born and they couldn’t have picked a better way to kick it off. Soon the communities within Flint, Michigan will not only have young author’s, they’ll have an entire community young and old excited about reading and
