Reflections of Drew

The raw, real, and reflective novel entitled Reflections of Drew, was about to be retired. Author/Publisher Kellen E. Brandon decided that the highly praised novel could be considered hypocritical when compared to his new perspective on life.

“I’d planned on taking it out of print at the end of the year [2012] or when it was out of inventory, whichever came first,” says Brandon.

He didn’t realize the potential of his book until he got a call from a program director who was associated with a correctional facility in Michigan.

“They ordered lots of copies and I agreed that I would go into the facility and discuss the book with the inmates,” Brandon reflects. “The experience changed my life, and at the end of the workshop I found myself sharing about God with the inmates.”

Reflections Of Drew has since bounced back, building strong relationships with readers who relate to the issues within the pages.  Afterschool programs, correctional facilities, and therapy groups have all caught the wave of Drew, asking for author appearances and workshops discussing the book.

Brandon Publishing is now offering workshops dealing with the themes in the book to help people who deal with these issues, including:

Un-strain – The truths about damaged parent/child relationships.

Molestation – methods of a healthy recovery for those who have experienced molestation first hand or endure the effects of someone close to them that has been molested.

The Game Of House – A childhood game that has caused grown up issues.

Aftershock- (Living with the aftershock of domestic violence.) What does it mean for you and your family?

Racism vs. Love – Who really wins when racism is involved and the deep, dark, effects of racism in our lives.  Define it, recognize it, and stop it!

The Power of Exposure- Seeing is believing.  Exposure is the best teacher. We will show you how.
