Brandon Publishing is a traditional publishing company that seeks to publish quality literature
that is positive and impactful. We accept stories that uplift and empower. Before sending
us your manuscript please read our guidelines. It contains valuable information about our
submission process and specifications. For general information or questions please fill out the
info boxes below and click the “send message” button below.
Manuscript Submissions:
Manuscripts should be typed doubled-spaced and accompanied by a cover letter that includes a
brief biography of the author. The letter should also state if the manuscript is a simultaneous or
an exclusive submission. Please include your name address, phone number, and email address in
the top left corner of the manuscript.
Picture book manuscripts should be no longer than 1500 words for fiction and 3000 words for
nonfiction. Please send the complete manuscript. Do not include illustrations unless you are a
professional illustrator. Do not send irreplaceable materials.

Art Sample Submissions:
Illustrators should send a resume and cover letter as well as color copies, tear sheets, or other
non-returnable illustration samples. If you have a Web site with additional samples of your work,
please include the Web address. Please DO NOT send original artwork, portfolios, slides, or
electronic samples (on CD or by email).

If you require confirmation of delivery, please send the submission with a U.S. Postal Service
Return Receipt.
We DO NOT return ANY submissions. Be sure to send us copies only.
